We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated *Robot Programmer with a strong background in tooling design *to join our team.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in programming and optimizing robotic systems while possessing the expertise to design and develop specialized tooling solutions.
The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of robotic systems and tooling into our production processes.
*Responsibilities:*
*Robotic Programming*
* Develop and implement ABB Robot Studio programs, ensuring precision, efficiency, and safety.
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
* Troubleshoot and debug robotic systems to optimize performance.
*Tooling Design*
* Design custom end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) and fixtures for robotic systems based on project requirements.
* Experience with utilizing CAD software (e.
g.
, SolidWorks) to create detailed tooling designs.
* Optimize tooling designs for efficiency, reliability, and ease of integration.
*Integration and Testing*
* Integrate robotic systems with designed tooling into existing or new production lines.
* Conduct thorough testing to validate the functionality and performance of robotic systems and tooling.
* Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.
*Additional duties include but not limited to*
* Create comprehensive documentation for robotic programs and tooling designs.
* Maintain accurate records of programming changes, troubleshooting procedures, and design iterations.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of new technologies.
*Qualifications:*
Degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a combination of manufacturing experience.
* Proven experience in robot programming with languages in ABB Robot Studio.
* Familiarity with robotic simulation tools and software.
* Strong background in tooling design, with expertise in CAD software (e.
g.
, SolidWorks).
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
* Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
* Understanding of safety standards related to robotic systems.
