JOB STATEMENT This job requires a person to operate all aspects of the SMC machine.
This person will be required to set up the roving, modifier, “D” blades and chopper.
They must adjust the machine to maintain glass percent and sheet weight within the specifications.
Keep accurate records, work in a safe and conscientious manner and function as a team member.
JOB DUTIES 1.
Producing Sheet Molding Compound wet mix according to written procedure and instructions.
2.
Obtain raw material from the raw material warehouse.
3.
Position SMC rovings.
4.
Position Modifier, “D” blades and chopper.
5.
Attach piping to the SMC machine.
6.
Calculate glass percent and sheet weight.
7.
Maintain accurate records.
8.
Set up and operate all aspects of the SMC machine.
9.
Work safely and competently with fork truck.
10.
Correctly complete labor ticket.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $14.
