POSTION SUMMARY
The Loan Processor completes lending transactions after loans have been approved.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Regular onsite attendance
· Ability to work well with others in a team environment
· Provides accurate, efficient and exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
· Maintains knowledge of bank regulations, security and compliance responsibilities, products, policies, procedures and meets deadlines
· Satisfactorily completes all training required for the position
· Prepares loan documentation
· Contacts specific companies to obtain property descriptions, taxes, appraisal and other pertinent information and services
· Verifies completeness of data on loan papers
· Informs supervisor of discrepancies in title or survey
· Prepares settlement checks and statements for delivery to individuals and for lender records
· Assembles documents for delivery to title company, real estate broker or lending officer for closing
· Answers questions of buyers and sellers relating to details of transactions and obtain signatures of principal parties on necessary documents
· Prepare construction loan payments, maintain log of payments and obtain necessary tax reporting information
· Prepares reports
· Conduct rate survey as required
· Loan servicing related duties as assigned
· Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; one to three years related experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively and present information and respond to questions from groups, internal and external customers and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Computer Skills: Basic skills in computer programs and Internet access knowledge.
