*Summary of Duties:*
The Venango Fatherhood Initiative Program is seeking a role model for a full-time Program Director position to focus on male involvement and fatherhood support.
The Program Director will promote responsible fatherhood involvement through advocacy, community awareness initiatives, and organize, promote, and facilitate VFI activities such as groups, workshops, and events that support men to become more responsible and involved fathers and partners.
This position needs a motivated, flexible, self-starter who will work with facilitators/volunteers support to develop and achieve annual goals.
Public relations presentations and excellent collaborative skills are needed to enhance the referral process, while skills in activities, recruitment, and training of facilitators/volunteers are necessary.
The work schedule is flexible and will contain occasional evening and weekend hours which may include evening/weekend programs and activities.
This position reports directly to the Executive Director of Family Service & Children’s Aid Society with formal individual supervision being held on a regular basis and informal supervision available on an ongoing basis.
Company transportation is provided as well as a company cell phone provided.
*Required Skills, Qualifications and Abilities:*
· Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science, psychology, social work, counseling, or another related field.
· Plus 2 years’ experience in a social service setting or equivalent experience required.
· Act 34-73-151 clearances.
