Thiel College seeks two Assistant Men’s Soccer Coaches (PT).
These positions will report to the Head Men’s Soccer Coach and the Director of Athletics.
The selected candidates will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the college’s intercollegiate soccer program while holistically developing student-athletes to be leaders.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of game and practice preparations.
Mentor and monitor the student-athletes academic progress.
Evaluate student-athletes academically and athletically.
Follow all rules and guidelines set forth by the NCAA Division III, the Presidents Athletic Conference, and Thiel College.
Recruit, retain, and graduate quality student-athletes for Thiel College and the athletic program.
Assist in planning and implementing pre/post workout program.
Assist with fundraising activities.
Assist with community service planning and implementation.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics and Head Coach.
Applicants are required to have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Prior coaching and/or collegiate playing experience preferred.
Candidates must be self-motivated; possess strong communication skills; have solid organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills; The candidate must also strive for excellence and have pride in everything they do.
Successful candidates must adhere to all NCAA, conference, and institutional guidelines, policies, and rules.
Demonstrate professional behavior while operating with integrity.
This is a Casual Part-Time Position with a $5,000 stipend.
